join me in exploring materials, connecting with self/others and getting messy! when I met with my creative consultant, i had shared my excitement of having done my first workshop at a community event! I expressed how it went well, that I loved connecting with people, and seeing folx individual styles reflected in the unique pieces they had created. i also shared that i was annoyed because "there was such a mess." not only was i ready to talk about the next thing about my “successes” before they said “wait, why? isn't that what "cindita" is about?" and they were right! cindita is about reclaiming a childhood nickname that was used to scold me for having a mess whenever I was creating. with guidance, i decided i needed to explore my relationship to mess by hosting a MESSY workshop. join me and SAY YES TO THE MESS, both literally and metaphorically, where i will provide: - a space for an open conversation about the messy process of healing, growing, and learning - an opportunity to get creative with an array of materials and mediums - a cindita’s tiendita goodie bag cindita believes that money should not be the reason why you don’t attend a space for healing and finding community. if the cost to attend this workshop is a barrier, please reach out to me.
