Two-day, hands-on, anatomy course for massage and manual therapists that uses plastinated and human cadaver specimens for deeper learning.
Bring your 'anatomy-learning' to life with this 2-day, plastination, human cadaver and orthopedic anatomy course. Experience first hand the structures and mechanics involved in common orthopedic injuries such as plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, meniscal tears, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tears, sciatica and so much more!
DAY ONE
Therapists will use plastinated human specimens and interactive lab activities to review, learn and discuss anatomical structures of the spine, upper and lower extremities, as they relate to the assessment and treatment of orthopedic injuries.
DAY TWO
Led by the resident anatomist, therapists will spend the day embarking upon the journey of navigating a full, human body, cadaver! Therapist's will participate in resection of previously dissected human bodies. Peeling through layers of soft tissue, organs and orthopedic structures, therapist will dive deeper into discussions about pathophysiology, assessment and treatment of orthopedic injuries.

PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to register for the class. Subsequent payments of $250 increments can be made at anytime up until 48 hours before the start of the class.
