Yoga for Aging Gracefully. This gentle yoga workshop is designed to build strength, increase mobility and develop better balance. Donations Accepted Yoga for Aging Gracefully Age ain’t nothing but a number. While it’s normal for our body to change over time, aging gracefully keeps the mind vibrant, body healthy and spirit active. This gentle yoga workshop is designed to build strength, increase mobility and develop better balance with practice solutions for easing tension, stress and anxiety with breathwork. If you are new to yoga, working with an injury, have limited mobility or just want to learn to adapt your practice to match your present ability, then this is for you. We will work with breath practices, meditation and yoga poses on ways to improve balance, build core strength, ease digestion, increase spinal health and more. Workshop will have various yoga props available to support your practice and you will have time to ask questions to create what works well for you. Chair yoga options included because there may be occasions when getting up and down off the floor is a challenge. There are 12 spots available. This event is intentionally kept small and private so you can receive the individual attention in a safe and non-judgmental environment. COVID Protocols : Social distancing practice of “six-feet” will be adhered to. Room will be set up with designated spaces six feet from each other. Masks mandatory before entering the studio, while inside the studio walking to practice set up and anytime not at mat. If you do not have a mask one will provided to you. Participants will be six feet from each other. Vaccinated folks will have option to remove mask during practice only. Not vaccinated mask required at all times. Vaccinated or negative Covid Testing
