Abandoned dog on New York St Gentilly

If anyone knows who abandoned this pup, with his cage and food and drove off, please let me know. Many people tried to rescue him, he is a sweet pup. But, a family tried to help him, and got him in the cage and because he was frightened and lost, he became aggressive about people around his cage and the SPCA was called in, He is now being held by SPCA who will allow 3 days for the owner to come forward, otherwise, the dog needs to be neutered, then tested to see if can be adopted. A lot of people want to save him, and would have gladly adopted him from the owner- had the owner given a chance to him. There is a chance that this dog gets put down because of fright of the journey its been placed on!! If anyone knows anything, please text me here or email me. Just trying to save the little guy.
