Everybody's Nutcracker - an inclusive and sensory-friendly adaptation of The Nutcracker Ballet by The Dee Buchanan Studio of Dance “Everybody’s Nutcracker” is coming to the MHS Knight Stage on Saturday morning, December 11, 2021, at 11am! We want EVERYONE to have the opportunity to be a part of this holiday tradition. Middletown High School (use the cafeteria entrance in rear of building) The performance will include excerpts from “The Nutcracker Ballet”, including a performance by the DBSD Rhythm Works dancers. The performance will be sensory friendly. House lights will remain warm, music will be played at reduced levels to accommodate sensitivities, and there will be no “shushing” allowed! Everyone should enjoy the show in their own way! We know that taking a guest with a disability or extra needs to a live performance might be a stressful experience, but we want this performance to be inclusive and stress-free for everyone! We’ll provide a brief synopsis before-hand, and we invite all guests to stay as long as they're comfortable and move around as needed. This performance is free to the public.
