Can you foster Steele today? https://azhuskyrescue.com/foster/ Steele is a 2YR Male Red Siberian Husky weighing around 66 lbs. Steele was found as a stray dog, but got overwhelmed by the person trying to capture him and accidently bit their hand while they trapped him. We’re not sure if Steele got lose or what, but ever since being captured he has been very nervous and jumpy to any sudden movements. Steele has told the staff several times with his voice that he does not like being touched, picked up, or when people come behind him. It’s no surprise that he is upset right now! Steele has been able to be leashed just fine and walks to the potty yard with a wagging tail! He has never been around any other animals or kids, so for now Steele would need to be completely separate from other animals until his rescue can help the foster make a safe introduction! 🏠 Steele just needs a quiet place where he can feel safe and learn to trust again.
