This is a 2-Day event with a strong focus on being a disciple of Jesus and practical training by other disciples. You will learn what it is to live the life that we read about in the book of Acts: healing the sick, casting out demons, preaching the gospel, baptizing in water and in the Holy Spirit, and making disciples. WHO IS TEACHING AT THIS EVENT: The main teaching at this event will be A SERIES OF 7 VIDEO LESSONS, by Torben Sondergaard. This is an effective tool called the “KICKSTART PACKAGE”. LESSON TOPICS: Disciple of Jesus - The New Birth - The Holy Spirit - The Gospel - Knowing God - The Call of Jesus - The Good Ground A free workbook will be provided to Registered Attendees (this is a great way to reflect on what you've learned after the event). PLEASE NOTE: Torben Sondergaard will not be at this event. WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS EVENT: We review the basic biblical teachings of discipleship that has been lost in many churches today. The teachings are based on Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and the book of Acts where we read that Jesus was calling ordinary people to be His disciples. He gave them the authority (and they were empowered by the Holy Spirit) to heal the sick, cast out demons, preach the gospel, baptize in water and lay hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit. We are called to be His disciples and commissioned to do these same things today. PROGRAM: Saturday, December 4th 10:00am: Sign-in, Prayer 10:15am: Lesson 1 – Disciple of Jesus 11:15am: Lesson 2 – The New Birth 12:00pm: Lunch 1:30pm: Lesson 3 – The Holy Spirit 2:30pm: Lesson 4 – The Good News 3:15pm: Prayer, Fellowship 4:00pm: Meeting ends for the day Sunday, December 5th 10:00am: Sign-in, Prayer 10:15am: Lesson 5 – Knowing God 11:15am: Lesson 6 – The Call of Jesus 12:00pm: Lunch 1:15pm: Outreach 2:30pm: Return from Outreach – Testimonies, etc. 3:00pm: Lesson 7 – The Good Ground 4:00pm: Conclusion LOCATION: Holly Pointe Center (Conference Center Room, 1st floor, to the left of the stairs) 220 South Main Street Butler, PA 16001 PARKING: There is a (free) parking garage directly behind Holly Pointe Center and a parking lot one block away on the opposite side of the street. OTHER DETAILS: No videos or photos uploaded to social media without permission of person(s) in the video/photo. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided both days. Participants are required to find their own lodging. There are several hotels and Airbnb options in the area. There will be no childcare provided for this event. Parents are welcome to bring their children but will be responsible for watching them without disruption of the event. Offerings & donations at this event will go towards the use of the facility and not TLR or Torben Sondergaard. (The Last Reformation (TLR) is a movement and not an organization). WHAT SHOULD I BRING: Please bring a bible and pen. There will be water baptisms (at a different location), so please bring a change of clothes and a towel in the event you decide to be baptized. We live in Prospect, PA with our two teenage children. For many years we called ourselves “Christians” but began to recognize that something was missing in our walk with God. When we read the bible, our lives didn’t match up with what we were reading. We prayed that the Lord would lead us to a “home church” and visited many, but never found a place where He told us to stay. In 2015, we came across a video on YouTube where a man from Denmark was living out the life that we were longing for. We continued to seek God and saw similar videos from time to time. In June of 2020, God called Jeff to be a "Fisher of Men". A few days later he went on YouTube and watched a new video with Torben standing in front of large truck that says "Follow Me and I will Make you Fishers of Men". This was God leading us to attend the TLR Open House in North Carolina. At the Open House, we were completely transformed by God as He confirmed this was what we had been looking for. We’ve experienced freedom we never thought possible and witnessed many miracles in Jesus’ name. It is our deepest desire to do what Jesus’ commanded us to do, which is to be His disciples and make disciples. “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17 (NKJV)
