Description
I am looking to rehome my 5 year old mini Aussie, she is blue merle with one blue one brown eye. I would like to see her go to a home that gives her more attention than I can. She knows many commands although has some trouble listening to "be quiet".
She does have a broken tooth which the vet deemed not necessary to remove during her full dental under anesthesia on Oct 13.
She also has a "persistent pupillary membrane" in one eye which the vet said does not affect her eyesight.
Otherwise no health issues that I know of, has been kept up to date on rabies, heartworm test/prevention, flea/tick meds. She will need some work on housetraining as I have kept her outside most of the 3 years I've had her (inside a gated portion of the house for most of the winter though...and there has been some accidents.) She does much better on a regular schedule, which I do not have with my work.
She loves playing fetch with a tennis ball/pinecone/stick and then chewing on it however the vet said she is wearing her teeth down too fast - they recommended the rubber chuck it balls instead. She does not like being tied or confined because she loves to be by people. She cannot be crated.
This is an extremely hard decision and I will be very picky about where she goes. Please note I am in Shelby MI 49455. We can discuss a rehoming fee only if you are seriously interested.
