SAN RAFAEL, CA — A portion of Lucas Valley Road in San Rafael was shuttered Saturday to both cars and bicycles in both directions until 5 p.m. Saturday, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office. The road was shuttered near Big Rock Trail to accommodate construction on an infrastructure upgrade. Lucas Valley Road will open to all travelers at 5 p.m., the sheriff's office said.
