2021 Erving Family Reunion - Carnival Style Erving Family Reunion 2021Our family Reunion will take place in Kosciusko, MS ~ the weekend of Friday July 2nd through Sunday July 04th. Please make arrangements to attend all events (Fri, Sat, and Sun). We have a full day planned on Saturday so schedule your return home for Sunday afternoon and get ready to enjoy a weekend of Family Fun! (Family Reunion Fee covers all events, food, transportation, and T-Shirts) Friday July 02, 2021 5:00 P.M. CST - MEET AND GREET FESTIVITIES We welcome YOU! It's a Friday night and an Erving Thang! As we arrive in Kosciusko, we will meet up and distribute the t-shirts as well as casual Friday night shenanigans in the name of Family and Love. *Food and Beverages will be provided. *Erving Family Reunion 2021 t-shirt is included in our reunion fee *Welcome gift provided to each family member Saturday July 03, 2021 12:00 P.M. CST - "CARNIVAL ERVING STYLE" 2020 FAMILY REUNION PICNIC Before the Carnival, we will do a brief tour (tour is optional, but highly recommended) of Kosciusko for those from other states. Let's make the connection to our Erving Family Heritage in Mississippi and learn from whence we came. *Transportation for our tour will be provided from a central location After the tour, the Saturday festivities will begin. BRING YOUR INNER CHILDHOOD AND TALENT!! Our Itinerary Committee Members: Porscha, Latoya, Alycia, Julius, and Torre thought it would be amazing to add a theme to the traditional family reunion picnic. We know family is coming from afar and others close may need a bit more motivation to come out and meet new family. To tempt you a bit more...it's going to be a good time for all at The Erving Family Carnival!!! *Food and beverages will be provided ** Good, Old-fashioned Southern Bar-B-Que! *Some of your favorite Childhood Carnival games and candy! *Bouncy house will be onsite for kids and those that are still young at heart!! *Get ready to even ride the BULL!! *Cotton candy *Potato Sack Race *Crazy Leg Hunt *More Family games and competition to sharpen up on your scavenger hunt skills! *Transportation to and from the Coliseum/Park will be provided from a central location Saturday Night! The night is still young in Kosciusko!!! We will culminate our Saturday evening at the Attala County Coliseum for the Family Talent Show and Fashion Show (Meme's House of Design - Chicago, IL). We will also welcome our special guest: "And 5, 6, 7, 8" for a line dance instruction class! Come hang with the family - learn some new moves, enjoy the DJ and dancing where you can have enough fun for a lifetime in one night! Summertime in the Delta is amongst us..... you have to experience it! The nights are endless...good times make forever memories with family. Sunday July 04, 2021 - Family Worship and Closing Brunch Since this is our final day together, we will kick the day off with The Word. A designated Pastor will pray over our family and we will give thanks and expect traveling mercy as we all return to our homes and cities. Immediately after the Family Worship Service, we will have a closing brunch. At the brunch, we will recognize our elders in each branch of the Erving Family with a plaque. Let's celebrate our elders while they are still here and can smell their roses.
