FREE INDOOR 5th Bay Area Kids' Book Fair returns on Oct. 16-17, 2021 weekend with famous costume characters, authors, storytime and more. Bay Area Festivals is pleased to announce that our FREE INDOOR 5th Bay Area Kids' Book Fair is on the October 16-17, 2021 weekend. Our Silicon Valley fair is Saturday, Oct. 16, in Sunnyvale indoors at Fremont High School (1279 Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd. @ Fremont Ave.) and in the East Bay on Sunday, Oct. 17, in Dublin indoors at Shamrock Community Center (11600 Shannon Ave. at San Ramon Rd., 3/4-mile off Interstate 680).Both indoor events are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with FREE ADMISSION and FREE PARKING.The Bay Area has a rich history of writers, illustrators, world-renowned educational institutions and innovative technological advances, all of which will be featured at the fair.We have storytelling all day and other FREE ACTIVITIES for attendees, including LEGO Brick fun.We will have all-time favorite characters from books and movies to meet and greet Clifford the Big Red Dog and others.The first 200 families will get a FREE BOOK BAG. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank. They will receive a FREE RAFFLE TICKET for each donated can.
