Here are the top stories today in Cleveland: An 81-year-old man died Thursday after he was struck by a car while crossing the street on the city's East Side in his wheelchair. Cleveland police said Charles Clark was operating an electric motorized wheelchair and had stopped in the middle of the Buckeye and Woodhill Roads intersection. According to officers, Clark was struck by the driver of a Chrysler 200 who was westbound on Buckeye Road. (Cleveland 19 News) The mystery behind one of the biggest bank robberies in Cleveland history has been solved 52 years later. On Friday, July 11, 1969, Marshals say Theodore John Conrad walked into his job at the Society National Bank on Public Square. He walked out later that day with $215,000 (equivalent to over $1.7 million today) in a paper bag.
