Part-time senior companion and home helper Seeking a reliable companion and helper for a delightfully independent senior. She is sharp, warm, and tidy and seeking support with tasks around the house including light housekeeping, handy projects, running errands, and eventually in accompanying her to occasional appointments. She is looking to start with 2-4 hours per week, and is currently able to be fairly flexible with afternoon/early evening hours. No formal medical training is required (this is a non-medical position). Requirements: -at least 18 years old -background check -proof of legal residency -non-smoker -proof of COVID vaccine and commitment to safe practices for vulnerable elders (including wearing a mask during visits) -valid drivers license (proof of insurance if you plan to use your car for appointments with her) Preferred: -CPR certificate/first aid training -bonus points if you are even slightly tech-savvy and able to handle cable/apple tv set-up, minor tech support for phones, printers, and the like. Pay is up to $20 per hour based on meeting above listed requirements and skill preferences with job-related expenses (mileage for errands, etc.) to be reimbursed.
