Female Indian Ring Neck Parrot - Lutino (Yellow). DNA tested and banded. Her name is Beatrix Kiddo, after the Kill Bill series because she is yellow. I am going through a divorce and having to down size to an apartment. Due to noise restrictions I cannot keep her. (Anyone who has experience with parrots knows that they are not apartment pets). She is hand tame but does prefer to sit on your head instead of your shoulder. She does not talk but does whistle peek-a-boo and does the cat call whistle (my son taught her that). She is the only bird in the home and has no health issues. She is a family pet so I have no idea about being bred. She is semi-flighted as her wings are slightly clipped so she cant flutter distances but cannot gain height. She goes to Broadway Oaks for wing, nail, and beak trims so they have all her information on file if you choose to bring her there. I can provide that information, but am not going to post as it has my name, address, etc. on the invoices. She is on a seed/pellet diet supplemented with fresh fruit and dry roasted pistachios as treats. I have no idea how she is with other birds as I do not have any, she is used to children, my son is 10 and we got her just after he turned 7 - she does not bite him, but he also does not get in her space if she is cranky. She comes with her large cage pictured, and her travel cage (I mostly use it for outside time so she can get some fresh air and sunshine when the weather is nice). She is a package deal, she is not sold without the large cage as I do not want her housed in anything smaller than her inside cage. The cages are not for sale separately. $800.00 firm.
