Lady in need of help. My car’s check engine light came on yesterday because the rain and wind screwed with it so bad, it made it turn on. It’s having an on and off rumbling noise. When I tried to drive it up hill today, it was too much for the car; causing the check engine light to start flashing on and off. Took it to auto zone. They say it may be spark plugs or a cylinder 6 misfire. I can’t afford to even fix the car right now if I tried; I’ve already invested 1200 dollars into repairs the past few weeks on my car, the auto shop I usually go to is closed, and even though I work 3 jobs, One I don’t get paid enough, the other doesn’t have enough hours, and my full time one I’m having payment issues. My luck just never seems to stop being bad these days… Didn’t get my check this week and I won’t be getting a check for a hot minute. If someone could please, please, help me? It’s serious. I’ve reached out to all my sources that could help me possible to no avail. Cannot afford to lose this car. It is my only vehicle and my only hope of getting to work, getting around, and getting to my children’s appointments.
