CALIFORNIA LINEN SERVICES- IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A DRIVER POSITION. Family owned and operated since 1938 Route Service Representative As a Route Service Representative, you will drive a California Linen Services truck on special deliveries, route coverage or over an established delivery route. Deliver clean merchandise, pick up soiled merchandise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drives company truck to deliver & pick up linens to our customers business Collects money, makes changes, and records transactions on our handheld device. Gets the customers signature for pickup or delivery. Maintains customers inventory levels. to minimize or eliminate customer complaints. Listens to and resolves service complaints. Maintains a professional appearance. Cleans inside of truck. Performs truck inspections before and after route. HIGHLY DEPENDABLE AND RELIABLE SPANISH SPEAKING IS A PLUS. OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS A current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record- 1 point is ok Must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds Hard worker/ Team Player There is no set schedule like a 9-5 job. You start your route depending on the area of Los Angeles or orange county your delivering to. This avoids morning traffic. So it could be 5:30am or 7am start times. Days you make "special deliveries" the start time is 9am. If its a route you are assigned to, typically the earlier you start the earlier you return. The mornings depend on where the route is located and when the restaurant opens to receive the delivery. Normal start times are 7am. California Linen Services 40 E.
