Canoe found

Description

An abandoned unsecured canoe was found, observed over a week, then I salvaged the derelict vessel. There is no Hull Number or other legal identifying marks on the boat. No information as to where it was from, or who owned it. There was a tree limb inside which may have been used as a makeshift paddle. No other paddles were found. As it does have some value I can only assume it was stolen and then abandoned at some point. It could only have come from upstream; unknown if it was originally stored on the Sacramento or American Rivers or a tributary.
