We’re mature adults with years of musical experience under our belts, seeking collaboration with any and all exceptionally talented improvisational players. Bassists and keyboardists are encouraged to respond, but please understand the difference between truly inspired improvisation, as opposed to relying on muscle memories of patterns lifted from already established bands. The goal in all of this is to create atmospheric sonic environments that take the listener to unique and as yet unvisited places in their imaginations. This work is not for the faint of heart, or for those who can only replicate what someone else has done. The music we make is for our own enjoyment, and will never be valued nor understood by casual listeners who find comfort in the familiarity of repetition. Presently we are two guitarists and a drums player. We have developed our listening abilities commensurate with our playing, and this aspect is key to being able to truly contribute something of value in this setting. Giving each other space within the piece is crucial, otherwise the music becomes a muddy mess, and resembles a wall of noise. We appreciate encouraging diatribe, but if you respond with an interest in collaboration, please be ready and able to demonstrate where you are on your journey to this destination.
