Job description KKW Trucking, Inc. is a premier provider of transportation services in the Western United States. KKW provides over-the-road, dedicated and local truckload transportation services using ~400 tractors and 1100 trailers. KKW is a 60-year-old 100% employee-owned company and is looking for new talented associates. Position: Detail Washer keeps the company equipment clean including tractors, trailers, or other company owned equipment. Position requires flexibility regarding other duties. Essential Functions: · The detailer reports to the supervisor daily to receive duties for the day. · This position is responsible for cleaning and washing the inside and outside of tractors and trailers using soap, wash brushes, vacuums, or power washers. · The detailer assists drivers that wish to wash their own truck by providing soap and bucket. · The detailer assists in preparing new trucks for service in the fleet. · The detailer assists in preparing trucks for trade or sale. · The detailer routinely walks the yard starting equipment and visually inspecting for cleanliness. · The detailer will routinely walk, stand, and bend to complete cleaning duties. · The detailer will walk up and down stair ladder up to a height of 8.5 ft. in the course of cleaning the tractor. Marginal (Non-Essential) Functions: · The detailer may occasionally be required to move heavy items during preparation for sale or in-service of new equipment. Education/Experience/License/Certifications: · Prior detailing or lot porter experience preferred. · Ability to pass physical tests during pre-employment. · Valid driver’s license.
