Nuclear Bootz & Peach Hat with Paul Jarvis ALL AGES Nuclear Bootz & Peach Hat There is no band in the Portland music scene that may qualify for the title of "underground legend," more so than Nuclear Bootz. The power trio has quietly built an army of fans for their reckless brand of rock n' roll, raucous riffs, and tongue in cheek lyricism. Their live shows are a no-holds barred bacchanalian romp, rife with anarchic energy and always in total reverence to the "gods" of rock. Recently the band recorded their third album, entitled Green Velvet. The album was co-produced by Will Bradford (SeepeopleS, theWorst) and Will Holland (Pixies, Fall Out Boy) and was recorded at the legendary Chillhouse Studios in Boston, MA. On November 27th, the Bootz will perform at a rare Thanksgiving Weekend hometown show at Sun Tiki Studios in Portland, ME. Joining them on the bill is rock duo Peach Hat. Formed in 2011, Peach Hat is a musical duo consisting of songwriting, multi-instrumentalist brothers Nathan and A.J. Boston. The two self-taught, self-recording brothers from Maine create an interesting mix of Psychedelia, Rock, Pop, and are known to even color some songs with some country western vibes.
