This year, the kids of Chabad of Queen Anne - Magnolia are glowing crazy in a glow-in-the-dark disco! In the middle of winter’s bitter cold and dark nights, Jews have always celebrated Chanukah, marking the victory of light over darkness. Thousands of years after the miracle, kids are still marking this favorite Jewish holiday with lots of light. This year, the kids of Chabad of Queen Anne - Magnolia are glowing crazy in a glow-in-the-dark disco! The Chanukah dance party will start with glowing activity stations, where kids can make their own glow-in-the-dark dreidels and glow-in-the-dark Chanukah themed cupcakes. Kids will be empowered with a hopeful Chanukah message: no matter how dark the world seems; light will always prevail. The Chanukah party continues with a spirited dance off and glow-in-dark Menorah lighting. Kids are encouraged to complete Chanukah missions at home like lighting the Menorah and playing dreidel. $25 per family. Free for Hebrew School students. A Jewish Organization serving all Jews living in Queen Anne and Magnolia.
