Do you like to operate on your own but still be part of a friendly and fun startup team? We are looking to hire a part to full-time driver for our rapidly growing online book startup. (BayStateBooks.com) As a driver, you bring in the books that we recycle, donate, and sell online. The immediate role will be to drive a truck and collect books. This role has to the potential to expand in line with the growth of the company. Job Description: 19$-$20/hour negotiable for the right person. We have book collection boxes all over Massachusetts and New Hampshire. You will be given a route to drive. At each location, you will collect the books and put them into the truck. Inside of most bins there is a gaylord (a large box on top or a pallet). You will use a pallet jack to move the gaylords out of the bin and into the truck. When the truck is full, return to the warehouse and we'll help you unload. This is a mix between driving and general labor. The boxes are up 1000 pounds, but you will be trained in how to move them using a variety of equipment.
