A free art workshop during The Arts at 314 open house. For ages 8-12. Self-Portrait drawing. All skill levels welcome. Please join us in the studio to draw self-portraits. Ages 8-12. During this activity the students will create a cool piece of art about themselves. Only half of the students face will be drawn on the page. This portrait drawing technique is easier for younger artists to learn because it takes less concentration to draw one eye, ear, ect. It takes out the pressure to make both sides of the face perfectly symmetrical. The design on the rest of the page is up to the young artist. Creativity encouraged! This project will be modified as needed based on age and skill. A great opportunity to meet local artist Stephanie Porcello and learn more about the teen art classes offered at her studio.
