Warehouse Workers are the foundation of our business. These associates work within specific departments and oversee all outgoing and incoming rentals. Their function is to ensure our rented items meet our quality standards, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide concise communication between all necessary departments. What can a typical day look like as a Warehouse Worker: • As a Warehouse worker, you will be juggling multiple tasks throughout the day. However, your most important role will be maintaining quality of all rented items and accuracy over orders coming in and going out. • A Warehouse Worker will work with a team of people meeting daily and ever changing goals aimed at getting the best and most accurate rentals out to our clients. If you like attention to detail, you will love being a member of our warehouse team. • Constantly on the go! Being a member of our warehouse team is not a 9-5 desk job. This position can yield long hours with constant movement and juggling of tasks. Being organized and goal-oriented is going to be a key attribute to excel in this fast-paced role. Daily Duties: Warehouse Worker Reports directly to Warehouse Lead • Meet company goal of pulling out-going orders, 48 hours in advance with quality and accuracy of pulled orders as the number one priority. o Immediately notify Warehouse Lead or Supervisor when an item is un-available and or does not meet quality standards. • Achieve goals set for you by Warehouse Lead and Supervisor. • Assist Loading/Un-Loading Leads with in-coming and out-going trucks. • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with Warehouse Leads and Supervisor. • Ensure that Atlas’ inventory is maintained following proper procedures and alert Warehouse Supervisor if an item, or group of items do not meet the Atlas standard. • Suggest new ideas to help the overall workings on the warehouse/company. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Adhere to all safety regulations. General Qualifications: • be at least 18 years old • ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time • obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position) • ability to lift product weighing between 67 and 85 pounds • ability to sit or stand for long periods of time • ability to bend, stoop, and twist • ability to stack product of varying weights • ability to work under strict time requirements • ability to read, write, and identify and verify numbers • ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
