Looking for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter and Helper
Full Time position
Well-established company with a growing Fire Sprinkler business within South Florida area is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter.
The Fire Sprinkler Fitter is considered knowing the mechanics of fire sprinkler system installation. A sprinkler fitter is responsible for installing all types of fire-protecting systems, including pipe systems and valves. They cut, thread, assemble, and bond pipes and tubes according to equipment, they also need to know how to read Blueprints.
The Fire Sprinkler Fitter must be reliable, able to follow verbal work instructions/directions, able to follow through on assigned tasks and exhibit the initiative to learn the skills of the trade.
The Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helper is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of fire sprinkler system installation. This position may be responsible for site clean-up, staging, and distributing work material to other employees at a job site. The position will also cut and thread the pipe.
The helper receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Fire Sprinkler Fitter/supervisor. Construction trade experience, demonstrated mechanical skills, or related training are preferred.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Must be able to installation steel and CPVC piping for fire sprinkler systems.
Must maintain a clean and safe work area.
Must be physically fit to perform the work.
Must be able to lift/carry 75 lbs.
Possess the ability to work well with others.
Must have a clean driving record, valid Driver’s License
Need to be willing to go work in Miami-Dade / Broward / Palm Beach county.
Be willing to work nights and weekends if needed.
Experience: Fire sprinkler/Pipefitting: 1 year (Required)
