The Spaniels Forever performing an evening of Christmas songs, Vintage Doo-Wop, R&B and Gospel. One of the pioneers of the doo-wop sound that sprouted from the 1950s, the Gary-born Spaniels are responsible for one of the genre’s classic staples, “Goodnight Sweetheart, Goodnight.” The Spaniels earned a Pioneer Award from the Rhythm and Blues Foundation of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.
