Dance for Mobility is a performance fundraiser celebrating mobility and highlighting Penta's impact on the global amputee community. Please join us on November 18th to help raise awareness and support for the tens of millions of amputees around the world who cannot afford prosthetic care. Dance for Mobility will be an engaging evening of adaptive dance hosted by Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, and Lorna and Ed Goodman. Featuring exceptional music and performances by both amputee and non-amputee artists and creatives, the event and panel discussion will highlight the value of mobility and Penta's work in facilitating access to limbs for people with disabilities around the world.  Every ticket purchased is enough to help an amputee in need walk again and give them opportunities for work and education that would otherwise be inaccessible. Please see important details on the event below. Important Information about the event: Doors open at 6:30pm. Please arrive before 7:00pm to be checked in. Entrance to the theatre is on 59th Street, between Park and Madison avenues. Attendees will be seated for the duration of the performance and panel discussion that will follow.Ticket holders will have the opportunity to reserve entrance for a space-limited reception to be held immediately after the event. COVID-19 precautions: this event will follow NYC and NYS guidelines on the pandemic. We will require proof of vaccination at entrance and encourage testing in advance. Masks must be worn by attendees throughout the performance. About Penta: Penta Medical Recycling is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that repurposes high-quality, used prosthetic limbs discarded in the US and provides them to amputees in need in low-and-middle income countries, helping them regain physical, social, and economic mobility.
