The COVID-19 pandemic impacted the lives of countless middle schoolers in New York City by widening the opportunity and achievement gaps, hitting historically disadvantaged students the hardest. Help Common Denominator tackle education equity head on, by ensuring that in-need middle school students have access to free quality math tutoring, that sessions are fun and that students at-risk of falling behind learn to love math, while building their confidence and agency through tutoring and mentorship. AGE // Are there ID or minimum age requirements to attend the event? Common Denominator welcomes anyone 21 or over to this open bar event.
