Need PLUMBER TODAY. Broken shower handle - water wont turn off

I need a plumber TODAY....last night the handle on the shower seems to have broken internally and so literally we cant turn off the water in the shower. As a result after two hours of fiddling with it I had to shut off the main, losing water to the whole house until I can find a plumber. Some mechanism behind the handle had to have failed.
