Hello birdie lovers. Do you need an experienced, safe and loving sitter to leave your precious family member with while out of town or vacationing? I can and would love to provide that service, and occasional longer term fostering also. Experienced with all small pet birds from finches to parakeets (smart little parrots!) to medium sized parrots such as cockatiels, conures, lorikeets, cockatoos, etc. Their stay is personalized with your help, including best cage location in home, diet and special needs, appropriate out of cage time, and you provide their pellets/seed also so that doesn't change. I provide healthy fresh organic foods chopped daily along with fresh water for drinking and bathing, daily cage clean. Also lots of music and shoulder time, kisses and applause or treats when wonderful tricks are performed... and when not performed. Everyone is beautiful in their own way - your bird would be treated like my own bird. :) I also have experience with small pets, from bun buns to hamsters and piggies, a gecko (once), etc. Open to sitting most small pets that live in a cage because.. see above, birds must always be safe. I do have a large Living World Deluxe Habitat, a dog crate and various bird cages that can be used if needed (see images) but their own cage is always best. Basically if you have a small pet and want excellent care and attention in a home atmosphere (rather than a pet store) while you are away, I'm your gal. Located near Downriver Golf Course in a nice neighborhood, just a grandma looking to babysit pets because kids are too hard.
