He has already achieved some national notoriety by becoming the runner-up on Season 2 of CMT’s Can You Duet, and by being hand picked, by Keith Urban, as the winner of Guitar Center’s “Your Next Record with Keith Urban”, Subsequently he recorded songs with legendary producer Dann Huff, and secured an opening spot on Urban’s 2011 tour.
