P/T - Tasker / Material Runner

Part-Time, Roughly 20 hours / week We are a small residential general contractor building homes within the city, and we need some assistance with general tasks and material running. You Don’t Need: Advanced Carpentry or tradesmen skills Tools Contractor License You DO Need: Your own truck that is at least capable of carrying 4x8 sheets of material or 12’ boards. General Liability Insurance and Business Auto Policy (we can show you where to get this if needed) Ability to lift 75 pounds Reliability and dependability are musts Duties include but are not limited to: Material running (trips to home depot, lowes, lumber warehouse, etc) (Gas Mileage Reimbursable) Jobsite cleanup Landscaping (digging/planting/putting down sod) Unloading/carrying/moving materials. Misc. tasks on the jobsite such as: touching up paint, touching up caulking, adding 2x4 blocking, misc. other touch up / adjustment work. Other misc. tasks We are looking to hire a person or company as an independent contractor via 1099 to perform various tasks. You would not be an employee of our company. You would be responsible for setting your own hours to accomplish a list of tasks that week, and you would be free to perform work for other companies or people throughout the week.
