CMPD Freedom Division Shop with a Cop 2020-Volunteer Registration

Shop with a Cop provides a fun filled day that fosters positive relationships between youth and officers. Tuesday , December 22,2020 On the day of the event, uniformed officers will head to Walmart on Wilkinson Blvd. and go shopping with their “Partner for the Day”. Each child will be provided the opportunity to shop for themselves while being accompanied by a police officer. Wal-Mart is partnering with the CMPD Freedom Division to host the second Freedom Division “Shop with a Cop” event. On the day of the event, uniformed officers will head to Walmart located at 3240 Wilkinson Blvd. and go shopping with their “Partner for the Day”. This event is sponsoring 40 children housed at the Ravenwood Apartment Complex (900 Lynn Street). Each child will be provided the opportunity to shop for themselves while being accompanied by a police officer. The children and accompanying parent/guardian will be transported from Ravenwood Apartment Complex (900 Lynn Street) to the Wal-Mart (3240 Wilkinson Blvd) for the event. CMPD Freedom Division always welcomes volunteers for our community events and we are excited to host our second "Shop with a Cop Event" that is sponsored by Wal-mart. If you are interested in volunteering , we do have several opportunities open to the community. Please select the position you would like to volunteer for. We have two shifts for each position ,morning and afternoon. In addition, we have two locations for volunteers to participate.
