NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A duo from New York City were arrested on Thursday and charged with stealing Apple products from multiple T-Mobiles stores across Nassau County, police said.
According to police, Lanizja Myers, 19, of Rosedale, and Elyanni Sesay, 19, of Brooklyn, entered six different T-Mobile stores in Nassau and stole Apple iPhones and Apple Watches. When employees tried to stop them, police say they two would say they had a weapon, and then pull out a taser and pepper spray.

Sept. 29 at 7:20 p.m. at 481 Old Country Road, WestburySept. 29 at 7:38 p.m. at 672 Stewart Ave., Garden CitySept. 29 at 7:55 p.m. at 143 West Jericho Turnpike, MineolaOct. 6 at 1:55 p.m. at 1199 Grand Ave., BaldwinOct. 6 at 5:05 p.m. at 88 Manetto Hill Mall, PlainviewNov. 4 at 6:15 p.m. at 348 West Sunrise Highway, Valley StreamPolice say the investigation led them to the two women, who were arrested in Queens on the afternoon of Nov. 11.
Myers and Sesay are both charged with five counts of first-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief. They are scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
