Join us for our 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Iverson Foundation for Active Awareness! Out of abundance of caution, we have decided to postpone the August 10, 2020 Guns and Hoses Tournament to April 19, 2021. Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, in conjunction with the Solana Beach Firefighters Association, will hold the Eighth Annual Guns and Hoses Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, August 10, 2020 on our 18 Hole Private Course. All raffle proceeds will be donated to the Iverson Foundation for Active Awareness. On December 14th, 2017, Cory Iverson, a Fire Apparatus Engineer for CAL FIRE paid the ultimate sacrifice while battling the Thomas Fire in Ventura County, California. He was survived by his wife, Ashley, their daughter Evie, and – at the time – their unborn daughter Taylor. Just one month prior to Cory’s passing; a colleague took his own life leaving behind a young child and wife. It was then that Cory understood the gravity of mental health and the devastation it can leave behind in its wake. In founding the Iverson Foundation for Active Awareness (IFAA), Ashley is able to keep Cory’s memory alive for their daughters and to continue on Cory’s legacy through his sacrifice to help all first responders; those that selflessly help others on a daily basis. The cost is $85.00 per player and includes Cart Fee, Green Fee, use of our Practice Facilities, Lunch on the Course and Post-Tournament Reception. Tournament Schedule: 10:00 a.m. - Registration 11:00 a.m. - Putting Contest and Lunch 12:00 p.m. - Shotgun Start  5:00 p.m. - Awards & Reception If you are a current or retired First Responder or Law Enforcement Office, or just like to golf and support charity, come on out and test your skills on our Private Course.
