Update: Police said Michel Lorena Lopez, 35, of Norwalk has been located and is safe as of Friday evening.
NORWALK, CT — Police are asking for the public's help locating a 35-year-old woman reported missing from Norwalk since Monday.
In a statement, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said Michel Lorena Lopez was reported missing by her mother, LuzStella Serpe, around 2 p.m. on Thursday.
According to Dinho, Serpe told police Lopez, who was described as having purple hair and multiple tattoos, has been missing since Monday.
Dinho said Lopez's cell phone is inactive at this time and her vehicle, a silver 2013 Kia Optima with a Connecticut license plate (AU73572), was found in New Canaan.
