Here are the top stories today in Salt Lake City: Intermountain Healthcare, the state's largest healthcare system, is launching a first-of-its-kind partnership with Zipline, an instant logistics company, to deliver prescriptions and medical supplies to patients throughout Salt Lake City. Organizers expect the operation to grow in the coming years with hundreds of deliveries each day to about 90 percent of patient homes in the region. Zipline's delivery service features a fleet of small, fixed-wing autonomous aircraft that can travel long distances in most weather conditions. (ABC 4) Salt Lake City will make history in more than one way with its projected incoming city council. For the first time, the majority of the council will be people of color and LGBTQ+. Not only will this council be the most diverse in terms of race and sexuality, but they will also be the youngest group the city's ever had. Four out of seven of them also speak Spanish. (ABC 4) On Tuesday, hundreds of people huddled inside the pavilion in Fox Hollow Park in Northern Salt Lake City to remember Isabella "Izzy" Tichenor, 10, who died by suicide Saturday. (KUER 90.1)Intermountain Healthcare reports that their new fetal center will be a state-of-the-art fetal care center at Primary Children's. The intent is to care for mothers with complex pregnancies.
