Dewey’s Cook Inlet has been doing business in Alaska for 50+ years and is the leader in Marine & Yamaha outboard sales. We take pride in being able to help people get on the water, and are looking to hire a full time Marine Technician to join our team. This is NOT an entry level position. Advanced Marine Rigging / mechanical skills required. Must have minimum of 5 years of experience with outboard systems (Yamaha outboard preferable, but not required), marine electronics, and marine accessories installation. Duties include rigging and outfitting new ocean boat and jon boat packages, trailers, and outboard motors. Must be SAFETY conscious and have a valid drivers license. All weather gear will be needed when required to work outdoors. Personal tools will be required. Dewey’s provides standard tools. Successful applicants are reliable, at work on time, and have the ability to work well with others. During summer months, overtime may be required due to high workload. We offer excellent benefits, including health and paid vacation after 90 day employment review. Pay is negotiable D.O.E. We do not REQUIRE vaccinations.
