The Woodridge Special Events Committee is once again sponsoring the Annual Santa Comes to Woodridge event. Free Gift Bags will be given to the first 200 children to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event will be held inside the St. Scholastica Parish Activity Center at 7800 Janes Avenue in Woodridge from 11 am until 1 pm. Therefore please wear your masks. Woodridge Police Chief Cunningham will escort Santa & Mrs Claus to the event. Please note that no food or drinks will be sold in order to stay in conformance with the Covid-19 protical. We want to ensure that all precautions will be used to make this a safe and inviting event. A walk along line will be used to maintain a safe distance and children will not sit with Santa or Mrs Claus - they will however be able to pose in front of Santa and the decorated stage so parents can take any photos they wish to capture. As has been the practice for over 50 years - this event is FREE and letters to Santa will be happily accepted.
