OSWEGO, IL — Two cars piled up at the intersection of Route 34 and Pfund Court Wednesday evening after a pickup truck hit the first sedan, which struck another, and fled, Oswego police said. The pickup truck was turning onto Route 34 from Pfund Court around 5 p.m. when it hit a sedan, driven by a 20-year-old woman from Montgomery, driving west on Route 34. The collision caused the car to hit another sedan, driven by a 34-year-old Plano resident, stopped in traffic, according to police. Oswego police officials reported the 34-year-old woman was injured but didn't require an ambulance. The other driver was not injured in the crash. The crash is currently under investigation, police said. (For more news and information like this, subscribe to the Oswego Patch for free.
