COACHELLA VALLEY, CA -- A brush fire burned two acres of vegetation in Desert Hot Springs early Friday morning.
The fire was reported at 4:38 a.m. at the intersection of Country Club and Vista Cerro drives, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Fire crews were able to stop the blaze's forward rate of spread, the fire department said on Twitter at 5:47 a.m.
No injuries to civilians or fire department personnel were reported.
