Curtain Call's Front Street Theatre is ready to ring in the Christmas Season this December with a two-weekend performance of A Christmas Carol, A Live Radio Play! The vintage 1940's WCCT's Live Radio Station is proud to bring back the voices of the famous Freddie Filmore as Ebenezer Scrooge, Jake Laurents as Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the second of the Spirits. Harry "Jazzbo" Haywood will add his voice as Bob Cratchit, and the adorable Tiny Tim. Rounding out these renowned male voices are the incomparable women of the broadcast; Sally Applewhite will be the voice of Scrooge's only love – Bell and Mrs. Cratchit, and Lana Sherwood will voice the Ghost of Christmas Past, the first of the Spirits, and the Charwoman. As you close your eyes and hear these melodious voices bringing to life the classic story of A Christmas Carol, you will magically hear live sound effects of 1843 London by the talented Stage Manager. The Live Radio Play will be complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra-fancy), and musical underscoring. A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying "Bah Humbug!" Returning as the WCCT Director is Mike Kotze, assisted by Matt Carey, and Kimberly Joy Minarich. Together, they have brought 6 modern-day actors and turned them into these famous radio personalities. Ken Hawkley as Freddie Filmore, Mike "Meeks" Azarkiewicz as Jake Laurents, Adam Griffiths as Harry "Jazzbo" Haywood, Beth Czechanski as Sally Applewhite, Jean Berard as Lana Sherwood and Jim Berard as Stage Manager.
