We have a 15 week old red heeler mix that needs a new home. She’s much larger than we were lead to believe she would be but we tried to make it work anyway. While I would love to keep her, we simply don’t have enough space for her to get out her energy. We were told she was mixed with “terrier” but I am questioning the accuracy of that due to her size. She’s probably 25 pounds at 15 weeks. She’s a SUPER sweet girl and loves to play. She’s good with my boys, but they’re just too small for her right now. She’s had her first three rounds of shots and was dewormed twice before we got her. I was really hoping we could make an adjustment and make it work, especially after driving almost 2 hours to get her and getting our kids excited, but the size is just not going to work at our current house and I want her to have the space to run.
