Hello I'm looking for a rhythm guitarist for my Anointed for Christ Band. I play piano, and practice at my home. I'm looking for a musician who is available to practice at least once per week, for a two hour block of time, during these hours: Monday through Friday between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sundays between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Not on Saturdays, because on Saturdays I rest. I'm looking to gig mostly in the Salem area and make part time income from the music, according to God mercy. If interested, please call me at
. This is a band restart, as I formerly have had multiple bands but we have parted ways on good terms and now I'm looking to gig again. I already have the songs written and a set list put together. I'm open to writing new material as the band progresses in skill (if you write music yourself that's a plus in my eyes). At very minimum, I need someone who can follow moderate to easy chord changes. I'm looking for experienced musicians who have already played at church; those who have volunteered at their local congregation and now want to make music for a living. If you have not, then I am looking for someone with at least 2 years of musical proficiency and live performance experience. Singers are welcome as well as musicians.
My influences are songwriters like Rich Mullins, Jason Upton, Jars of Clay, Third Day, Audio Adrenaline, Misty Edwards, David Brymer, Zach Williams, Mark Shultz, Keith Green, Hillsong United, Zoe Girl, Natalie Grant, Muse, Big Daddy Weave, Matt Maher, Scott Ingersol, Don Doan, Johann Sebastian Bach, Bethel Church Musicians like Jeremy Riddle, Nate Dunn, Matthew West, DC Talk, Counting Crows, and various other 1990's alternative rock bands that had hits while I was in highschool.
Thanks for reading and God bless you today!
