Machine Operator First Shift $15-$17 Night Shift $18-$19 Under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Equipment Operator operates, adjusts, maintains, and repairs various types of packaging equipment. Job Type: Full-time (6:00am-2:45pm, Monday through Friday, OT & Saturday/Sunday work may be required depending on production needs.) • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred. • Experience with following Equipment is required: o ARPAC (or BrandPac) Shrink & Bundle Wrappers • Additionally, experience with 2 or more of the following categories of Equipment is required: o Shrink Wrappers: Weldotron, Eastey, Shanklin o Pallet Wrappers: Lantech, Cousins o Ink-Jetters: Citronix, Leibinger o RF Sealers: Fara-Dyne, Cosmos o Hot-Melt Applicators: AXCO, Dynatec Required Operational Experience Machine Operator: 2 years Manufacturing: 1 year Food and Beverage: 1 year ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able to operate multiple pieces of equipment which may include Bundle Wrappers, Heat Tunnels, Ink-Jetting Machines, Pallet Wrappers, Shrink Wrappers, RF Sealers, Hot Melt Applicators, Labelers and Tray Formers. Must be aware of all E-stops and pinch points caused by moving machinery including energized equipment by air or electrical. Must work with Team members to maintain standard changeovers while maintaining standard line efficiencies. Must be able to troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical issues. Must be able to perform daily/weekly scheduled machine maintenance and maintain records. Must be able to set up and adjust equipment lines and conveyors and adjust machine settings. Compliance with all Safety, Housekeeping, Food Safety, and GMP practices. Must be able to learn to operate unfamiliar equipment (training provided) Other duties as assigned.
