Certified Laboratories has an exciting new opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our growing team. In this key role you will performs cleaning duties such as shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Following standard procedures and safety guidelines. • Supply all restrooms. • Daily sanitization of high-touch surfaces. • Perform minor repairs on the building and laboratory equipment. • Coordinate with external cleaning company, landscaping, and snow removal. • Coordinate with autoclave vendor for repairs and preventative maintenance. • Coordinate annual inspections including the fire sprinkler system and backflow system. • Scan inventory into RIMS and send packing slips to relevant parties. • Other duties as required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • At least three (3) years relevant prior experience required • Must successfully complete the Hazardous Waste Management (EPA RCRA) and DOT – Hazardous Materials in Transportation 49 CFR Parts 171 – 178 training as required. • Good organizational skills - ability to use your time, energy, resources, etc. in an effective manner. • Must be able to multi-task • Ability to lift at least 60 pounds • Ability to stand for prolonged periods • Time management – one’s own time and the time of others.
