Established in 1923, Alexander Gow Fire Equipment Company is a local, family owned company located in Ballard that specializes in fire suppression systems. We're looking for a hard working self-starter to work as a Fire Equipment Technician. Experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate - someone with an outstanding attitude, who's organized and eager to learn, and is looking for a career, not just a job, with a lot of opportunity for advancement. This position will be responsible for: Recharging/Hydrotesting all kinds of fire extinguishers and fire suppression cylinders Deliveries & Pickups Keeping the shop area clean and organized Candidates must have reliable transportation to get to and from work. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4pm with occasional overtime, which is paid as double-time.
