Description

*located in Gresham, OR* Hello friends. I am unfortunately having to post my sweet, 6 month old female GP/Anatolian mix that is still looking for a new home. This is no fault of her own. She is absolutely wonderful with people and children. She lives with my rambunctious 2.5 year old and adores kids of all ages. Good with other dogs and loves to play, but needs a minute to warm up to them as she can be shy, especially big dogs that are really rough and in her face. Responsible introduction is needed, but after a few minutes she’s ready to zoom around with friends! She is good with cats, but is really interested in them and sometimes will chase. She is annoying to cats, but not a threat in our experience (she’s lived with my cat her entire life). She is socialized as a family pet, and we have discovered she is not meant to guard livestock. She thinks chickens are fun toys, and will chase horses. She is medium energy. I’d say she spends 75% of the day being lazy and 25% wanting to play. She needs outdoor space and loves to be outside very often. She is a great deterrent for unsavory characters with her big bark, but friendly to strangers and friends you want to bring into your home. She could use some work on leash, she doesn’t pull too hard but will sometimes get distracted barking at other dogs/stimuli and needs to be re-directed. This has really only been a recent issue, since I haven’t been able to get her out as much due to health and personal issues. She is potty trained and knows basic commands, she is overall a good listener, fast learner, and really wants to please her people. She has a really sweet, silly and ultra loving personality! Definitely a gentle giant. Does the “pyr paw” and everything 💗 I love this dog with all of my heart, I’m devastated that we are put in a position to rehome her. Please let me know if you’re interested in our girl or if you have questions.
