A rehoming fee is fair and affordable. $800 for a non-health-tested, unpapered, unvaccinated puppy is SELLING. $1200 for a poodle mutt with no testing or vet care is SELLING. Your dog isn't a designer dog because it has 6 breeds in it. It isn't worth $600. That's SELLING. And its SCAMMING because you're fooling people into thinking you're rehoming healthy, loving dogs when you're selling badly bred pups for profit. And your designer breeds ARE NOT BREEDS. Your shih-poos, maltipoos, chigis, doodles, chiweenies- they're badly bred mutts. Under no circumstances are they worth thousands of dollars. BEWARE if someone is asking hundreds of dollars for a dog. Ask for veterinary proof, papers, pedigree, titles, parents' titles, health tests, health guarantees- if they don't have any of that, don't shell out your money. They're either a puppy mill or a backyard breeder, and your new dog WILL reflect that.
