HB Staffing is proud to be assisting an Irvine-based lighting company with their need to hire a Shipping & Receiving Clerk!
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7am-4pm
Pay Rate: $15-$18/hr, depending on experience
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
On any given day, you will:
• Assist will-call customers. You will assist will-call customers with their orders, process returns and answer any questions pertaining to products and services offered by our client.
• Schedule UPS/FedEx/USPS shipments. You will create and manage picking tickets, packing slips, any corresponding paperwork, and quality checks for outbound shipments.
• Pick and pack customer orders. You will make sure all boxes are packed carefully using bubble wrap or packing material and affixing ‘fragile stickers’ on shipments.
• Keep warehouse and will-call area neat & clean. You will assist Warehouse Manager and co-workers in keeping the warehouse clean and ensure customer facing areas are presentable.
What you need to bring to the table:
• Attention to detail and ability to work well with others are key attributes needed for success.
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Ability to work while standing
Here's what we're looking for:
• 2-3 years warehouse experience. Understand how warehouse work is performed and have an eye for accuracy and teamwork.
• Comfortable with customers. You have the communication skills to interpret customer requirements and quickly get them the right lighting products.
